Huey Morgan being pictured with a Great Dane might not come as much of a surprise given the Fun Lovin’ Criminals association with Scooby Snacks.

Not only is it one of their biggest hits to date, but it is also Scooby Doo’s favourite snack.

Huey Morgan pictured at a poker table surrounded by Grilled American cheese sandwiches, pizza and San Pellegrino Limonata however might raise a few eyebrows.

This is the scene created for LoveMusicLoveFood: The Rock Star Cookbook, the concept of renowned food snapper Patrice De Villiers. Supported by celebrated music journalist Andrew Harrison and rock ‘n roll cook Sarah Muir it is a book that features over 60 musicians, it incorporates portraits of musicians with their favourite foods, each accompanied by a unique personalized recipe and exclusive interview. With the help of companies and individuals, it is a project raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

6 Music Presenter and half Puerto Rican, half Irish Huey chose Grilled American cheese sandwiches because it’s in his own words, an American institution – ‘It’s inside-out cheese on toast’. Alongside his Grilled American cheese sandwiches he has a love for pizza, no surprise for a bar and pizzeria owner. Completing Huey’s portrait is San Pellegrino Limonata, a drink he discovered on vacation and describes as feeling like mineral water, ‘It makes you think you’re being healthy’.

Native New Yorker Huey’s reasons for getting involved with LoveMusicLoveFood and Teenage Cancer Trust are simple. Cancer is something that has touched his life very directly, and when asked to get involved immediately said ‘Yes’. A man who feels very lucky, doing what he does and having done it for so long, he is all about raising awareness for the cause.

‘I think it’s important that if people do like the Fun Lovin’ Criminals or do like what we do and it brings a little bit of awareness to the cause, that’s a good thing’.

Finally we’re able to tell you all that the name of the much anticipated live album is called Fun, Live, And Criminal: Volumes I-III. This is a 3 disc box set containing a huge 55 tracks in total spanning our back catalogue and includes the obvious faves like “Scooby Snacks”, “Love Unlimited” and The Fun Lovin’ Criminal as well as rare tracks like “Live Have Love”. There are 52 live tracks all up plus 3 BRAND NEW songs that we’ve written especially for this box set. Part of this set also includes 3 FLC signature guitar picks, a tour laminate and the box set will be signed by us to you (with your actual name on it!).

We’ve paired up with Pledge Music and need your help to get this album to you. We need enough fans to “pledge” for our album and once we meet our target we’ll be able to release this. If we don’t meet our target you will not be charged of course but we need your support so please help us out!
